If you havent heard from me in awhile or if I havent been at the usual events/ festivals/ gatherings here is the reason. I realized that with the advent of social media and its movement into my life I became so focused on outer appearances and what everyone else is doing that I was driving myself crazy. This summer I realized that I was no longer living in integrity. That my outer appearance was no longer reflecting my inner experience and my private life. So, I have stepped back to correct this and am much happier for it. I have started a new yoga teacher training program, have been taking a curanderos course, have been more attentive to my family, and have been decluttering and creating an incredibly magic and healing home that brings me joy. I have officially arrived and dont feel the need to keep striving. I am officially living a simple life because it means that I am much calmer, more compassionate, attentive, happier, and am better able to help where it is most needed. I felt I owed this explanation to so many of you.
