If you havent met Peanut, youre in for a treat! Peanut, a tiny Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, may just be a few pounds, but man, he packs a LOT of personality into his tiny body! Hes about 8-9 months old, full of energy, playful, and affectionate. He cant decide which one he loves most: cuddling with his foster family on the couch, or playing with their dogs. During a recent visit to another TMHPR volunteers home, he even played with their resident dogs, too. The big dogs basically ignored him (I mean, wouldnt you if you were 10 times the size of your potential playmate and were likely afraid to crush him?), but Pepper, the terrier mix, became his BFF during his short stay! Check out the video for a little dose of Peanut Personality! Peanut takes a little bit of time warming up to new folks, but once he does, hes a sweet, affectionate little boy. Hes great with other dogs, but especially with small and medium size ones. Hed do best in a home with older or no kids. Hes also neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and house-trained.
