If you knew Marilyn Theresa Siwik wed like to share your fond stories here. Thank you Marilyn Theresa Siwik, 79, Waxhaw, passed away in the early morning of Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center – Pineville. Marilyn was born in Manhattan, New York in June of 1934 to the late Julia Maszle and Sylvester Adams. The Siwik family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 12 to 3 PM at Firethorne Country Club, 1108 Firethorne Club Drive, Marvin, NC 28173. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by many. She spent her working years as a grade school teacher. She enjoyed playing bridge and doing needlework in her spare time as well as socializing with senior groups with her husband James of 58 years. In addition to her husband, Marilyn leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Deborah Siwik and her husband Richard Muller; son Mark Siwik and his wife Karen and his two children Leslie and James; sister Diane Allen and husband Peter. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Marilyn’s memory be made to The American Lung Association lung.org or Autism Speaks autismspeaks.org. On line condolences may be left for the family at heritagecares
