If you know of a dog in your community that you believe is tied out continuously, or for more than 12 hours at a time - you should contact the NS SPCA - their contact information is at spcans.ca/animal-cruelty.html - but as well - I have a letter that I can send to them - letting them know that doing this is now against the law in Nova Scotia and giving them different options - from tools to bring their dog inside permanently to links to different rescue organizations that may help them rehome their dog - you can read the letter at nochainsalllove.ca/plea - you can email me at the message link above or by emailing me at nochainsalllove@gmail - thank you for caring about the dogs in your community!
