If you live anywhere in the vicinity of my gym world, you may be - TopicsExpress

If you live anywhere in the vicinity of my gym world, you may be tired of the fitness posts, esp launch-related. However, there are many, many people who were amazing in many, many diff ways this weekend. WARNING - LOOOOONG POST AHEAD. And so I take a moment to publicly appreciate: - Peg OHara for giving us such a fun pictorial gift. Looking through the photos is so much inspiring, and allows us a few glimpses of what flew by us while we taught. - Beth Rabbin for taking on the gargantuan amount of work required to pull this off. No exaggerating - this was a Herculean task and you gave of your own time and energy to make it happen. I know you had a posse of help - I cant name you all - but thank you, too. - Elizabeth Ouellette Ventura for taking the reigns on the Jam launch with such a masterful approach. I am officially obsolete ;) And videoing. Everything. (I wanna see that, btw.) - Liz Toland for lending your creative process to our Jam performance opps, and then filming them all for us to practice at home. That is my kind of launch prep. - Stephanie M. Zayas for reminding me what its like to be an enthusiastic, spirited newbie in this crazy BodyJam universe, thereby bathing me in the sunlight of your youthful energy. - Amelia Rosegrant for your generous time spent dressing all of our hairs, and maybe, just maybe, stretching yourself in a new way ;) (which is difficult for you bc youre already ridiculously flexible!) - Vindhya Ganhewa, Michelle Aurand, and Mindy Green for ALWAYS ALWAYS making the room brighter when you enter. Im practically crying typing this. You make my world a better place, my life far more fun, and my history loads more interesting ;) - Ellyn Marcus for having the patience and kindness and calm to keep me from freaking myself out 5 minutes before we get on stage. Thats called leadership. - Galina Escobar for giving every BodyCombat track the ferocious intensity it demands. Every time. You make me believe in you, and in the fight. - Lisa Pazmino for being THE (my) BodyCombat role model since before I even really knew what the program required. You are so skilled with so much star power, and yet, so real, and with no drama. I wanna be like you. - Colleen Barry for feeding me when I was too scattered to feed myself, and for coordinating the massive crossover between the Pump and Combat teams - double dose beast mode. - Allie Hauck for knowing more of the chorie at the first rehearsal than the rest of us combined, I think. Proving once again that the newest member of the team often has much to offer. - Christine Downey Bryan for launching Pump back-to-back with Step back-to-back with Combat with just an outfit change and a make-up refresh. And making it look easy. - Last, but not least, John Finamore and my two awesome kids, who came home from the beach a day early and then helped me stalk and recover a lost shipment of Superman Tshirts, hand delivering them to the gym with moments to spare. And all of you wonderful, fun, hard-working people who come to class week in and week out. THANK YOU! You are the reason we all want to put on such a memorable show. You are the reason we spend hours and dollars and countless watts of energy to be what you call instructors. Truth is - were all learners. Thanks for teaching US so, so many valuable lessons - about community, commitment, and FAMILY. They say it takes a village. I know for sure it takes a team. These peeps were only some, and Im sure Ive missed some others, who worked together to make this event a MEGA event. Now go, with a little help from each other - make your life a MEGA life ;)
