How am I spending my $86,400 in seconds today? I woke up this morning at 4:00am. Peggy (the Angel I care for) had a nightmare and was wandering around her room, fearful and confused. I guided her back to bed, helped her settle down and let her know that everything was going to be OK, I was right in the other room if she needed me....Then, I walked outside and stared at the moon and I was able to see the last half of the Blood Full Moon Eclipse. It was beautiful out, probably about 70 degrees, clear, quiet... Now that I was fully awake and after taking in some morning medicine from Mother Earth I sat at my computer and scrolled through FB and noticed all my fellow moon gazers who had stayed awake or woke up to behold the eclipse as well. Thank you for your AMAZING pictures you all posted here! I enjoyed them all as I sat and waited for the sun to rise. After a a little full moon morning meditation, I got dressed, got in my car, stopped for some coffee, and made my way home to pick up my kids to take them to school. On the way home I saw the most beautiful HUGE Full Moon Globe setting in the west as the sun was rising in the east. I wanted to stop and take a picture to capture the essence of it, but decided to just watch it from my rear view mirror taking all that amazingness in and SMILING. There are some moments that just cant be shared...they are personal experiences that are only meant for you in that moment and I thought about how blessed I am to be so ENGAGED and AWARE and AWAKE to it all as there was a time in my life that I would been driving...half asleep, upset that I had to wake up so early, upset that I had to work a 24 hour shift, upset to be away from my kids, upset that I had to be running around stretched out so thin, exhausted from burning the midnight oil, and spending my time thinking...WOW THIS SUCKS! But that would be a terrible way to spend my fortune and its only 10:22am!! What next? Here is a video I watched before I started writing this....a little inspiration for this post!
