If you love your man - dont try to make him give up his dreams - help him to dream bigger! I love an artist - it is a crazy kooky fun time but I am never bored - and I would have a very miserable man on my hands if he had a normal job where he could not travel the world and share his passion. Most women who get in relationships with DJs think its cool at first - then they realize how much time their man has to spend on his career (gigs, practicing, staying up on music, etc) and then those who are more conservative crave the security of a man with a real job - 9 to 5. Families pressure too - along with society. Everyone wants him to conform rather than living out his dreams. And God forbid you have an insecure girlfriend (but men can do a lot to not leave their girl feeling that way). Some women give up their dreams (though no one asked them to) so they expect the man to do the same. Maybe DJs, upon finding that they really like someone - should straight up ask her if she has these tendencies or if she has dreams of a man with a 9-5 - and then make your decision based on her answer.
