If you might be near the V&A Waterfront over the holiday season we look forward to welcoming you to Netshomi Zams Ethical Head Exhibition featured at One&Only Cape Town. Netshomi Zam means ‘with my friends’ in isiXhosa. It describes the evolution of the partnership between Mike Carella and Riaan de Villiers Hanekom, who specialise in making beautiful art pieces out of wire and bead art. The Ethical Heads Collection displayed around in Vista Lounge and Neo boutique seeks to pay homage to the magnificence of African wildlife. No one can deny the splendid beauty of the beasts that roam this great continent. The Collection has been curated to showcase that poaching and environmental encroachment pose a perilous threat to our wildlife. May the collection remind us all of the necessity of preserving these beautiful creatures for generations to come. Thank you for all your support in 2014 and we look forward to welcoming you during the holidays or in 2015. The exhibition runs until 19 January 2015.
