If you missed Date Night last night, you missed a really special evening! A near capacity crowd of about 50 people were treated to an uplifting time of fellowship, positive building up of our spouses, and riotous comedy. I mean... WHO KNEW PASTOR RUSS COULD PLAY GUITAR AND SING!!??? Were fortunate that he decided to become one of our pastors. I think he could have made a living doing stand-up comedy. The highlight of the evening was the Tim Hawkins comedy concert. Absolutely hilarious! Proverbs 17:22 tells us that A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. I can say with absolute certainty that there were no crushed spirits in the house last night, and lots of good medicine was doled out. Special thanks to Josh Patterson for handling the Audio/Visual duties, Phil and Trish Richardson for manning the registration table, and especially to Pastor Russ and Heather Hembel for organizing and hosting the event.
