Check it out. I have a story connected to this song, which also relates to the previous post about Rainbow Bridge. My wife and I saw an outdoor performance of Hair which was intermittently drenched by rain. When they got to the finale, the sunshine broke through and the and there was a brilliant rainbow over the stage. The audience went wild, but since the performers could not see the rainbow from the stage, they thought that the audience simply loved the song and sang it with even more gusto. And of course, we did all love the song. (The tune is epic and lyrics are well worth a read.)
