If you move with pain, force (maybe you hold your breath, or push the pose to look a particular way) your yoga practice or “stretch” beyond your personal limit you are creating MORE tension and probably compensating! The likelihood that you will progress consistently in your practice or move completely out of pain in highly unlikely. That is a interesting thought, uh? What does it mean to you to move more functional in your yoga practice and life?
