If you only live long enough to see the cycles, the game becomes so obvious. You really cannot be much older than 12, before you start realizing that your government is full of sh^%. The government will ALWAYS maintain an "evil product." The government needs to have, consistently, something that they can levy unreasonable taxes on...by telling you they are doing it for their own good. The reason there are cycles is that, sooner or later, too many people stop buying the last "evil product." So, about once per decade...they need something new, in order to get the money flowing again. WAY too many of you people stopped smoking. The government is not happy at the loss of "sin tax" revenue. So now: introducing COCA COLA...the very next scapegoat to be driven into the ground, so you will be quiet while they tax you to death. If the federal government told me that poking needles into my eye was bad for me, I would probably start doing it because of the certainty I have that everything they say is a lie.
