If you or anyone you know is going through treatment for cancer, there are many financial assistance/charity organizations/grants available to help with medical/household expenses. Unfortunately I was not aware of all of these when I was going through treatment, but with the help of an amazing colleague of mine as well as my own research, I have knowledge of many programs that will now help serve the oncology patients I work with.
