If you or someone you know bought a Safaricom line that had the prefix 072 and not 0722 for Kes 2,500 hebu inua mkono. If you were charged KES 32 per minute to make calls and had to check balance after every other call please stand up. Safaricom would then charge you 10bob for balance inquiries only!!! SMS cost I think 15bob. The smallest denomination of airtime was KES 250. If you used a simu ya jamii that charged Kes 10 per minute and 5 KES for flashing please stand up. If you queued at a school booth to make those reversed calls through the Telkom operators and would actually hear the call go through the valleys and hills of Kericho to your destination. If you stole from Telkom Kenya by inserting a very old (we actually suguaad it) one bob coin, ile ya Jomo, that for some reason registered I think like a 500bob coin and you would talk endlessly without being disconnected please come here………….. If you stole the school admin phone at 2am to call back home (landline) just to remind everyone about prize giving/visiting day please don’t hide. That’s how far we have come, Wazee hukumbuka….what did I leave out??
