If you or someone you know is depressed please seek help. Mental illness, especially undiagnosed or untreated mental illness, can cause a person incredible pain and anguish. Robin Williams shows us how wonderful and inspirational human beings can be. As tragic as it is, I hope his death helps this world wake up a little more and see how beautiful and vulnerable life can be. I hope this loss helps raise awareness to just how important mental health is and how we all can drop the judgment and see the need for more mental health services. Mental health is priceless and we can easily take it for granted. It is time to create a culture that prioritizes mental health and healthy relationships. We must confront stigma and ignorance by learning, listening, by sharing and caring for each other. Suicide can be prevented. Many terrible things in life can be prevented.
