If you really have a talent, a gift, it is not you who will discover it. It will be the other people seeing it in you. Waking up one morning and declaring that you have a talent in.. or are gifted in... will never make it true. The true talent/gift can only be seen by others and recognized by others. Trying to project an image of you that is not conform to reality will convince only a handful of people, who are either your close family/friends who care about you and wouldnt tell you the truth because they dont want to hurt your feelings, or people who dont know better and have never seen the real deal. Is THAT what you want to be? Or would you rather dilligently work, study, and try to better yourself knowing that, if you do have a talent/gift, sooner or later it will surface and the others will see it?
