If you remember the biblical character, Zacheous, as a weee little man... Then you were probably lied to. Lol The only wee thing about him was his height! Truth is... He was a modern day gangster. A pimp. He had the big house and the latest donkey/ horse for transport. Not forgetting the ladies. People regarded him as a bad guy, but still showed him respect for he called all the shots with regards to taxes in his region. He was THE GUY, until he heard of another GUY called Jesus. Zacheous wasnt humble and tame in nature. He climbed up that tree with the weird name, to check out the COMPETITION. If he could gain an audience with the next up and coming GUY, it would be good for his reputation! With this in mind, read his story again and realize the influence that Jesus had on this dude! This story was not about being a noble Christian and sacrificing your finances so that God can notice.
