If you respect educated learning and cultural hidden information I think a PhD could be wrote about what he says in this interview, Ill touch on some points. Kanye claims that in the world there are only 1400 plus like 1460-70 billionaires period, but only 7 black ones. In this he claims the world is ruled by a small percentage of not racist, but classist people (which I believe in). He stresses the importance of opening our minds as black people, and either facing the truth that even if you move away from america, you are then faced with classism. From here how do you elevate if your class has no support? IE family, money if you lose your own? He then in some point in the interview explains how he and the president have so much in common and in relivence he is more important to the culture of people he caters to. But how as the president, he is no George W Bush as G W B has oil and family money so deep from is father and fathers connections. That the president cant make some of the changes he claimed because he is a nigga from chicago with no ties to old money like GWB so if he wanted to change something he is basically unequipped to make moves on the scale and higher level. He then explains in a deeper meaning that the scale he is speaking of is Apple to Nike. Both targeting some of the same if not all of the same groups, but Apple is worth 600 billion and Nike with 26 billion, which is alot but isnt on any of the same level. Mr West will from this day have my respect. He then tries to teach this interview not that he is trying to be materialistic, but he is trying to transcend class to the point where he nolonger has to barter his name vs those whom have the position of classism he is trying to transcend. But that those same classes deny him, even in all his fame. He then goes on to say even to make his clothing he is getting blocked as people of power ask why meet with him at all he is just a rapper or just Kanye West... He then expressed that not only does this show no matter how famous or elevated you are in position you are still lower class to some people. Even if your a grammy winning presidential mentioned acclaimed platinum artist. This was by far almost the best 40 minutes I have seen him. It is so deep some of the info he drops confuses the interviewer. Ever since Eve told Adam to eat the Apple its been illegal not to wear cloths. Im just trying to help you not break the law.
