If you see a lot of people on Broomes coast this weekend with smartphones or androids and looking like they belong on the cast of Star Trek, then you will know that they went to the library last night to get involved in the COASTAL WALKABOUT PROJECT. These awesome locals, including a troop of scouts, are switched on about being citizen scientists and using a phone app to upload their photos of marine life to a dedicated website. Stay tuned for the next talk on April 7 that will be on Roebuck Bays beautiful inshore dolphins :)
