If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure. ~1 Corinthians 10:12-13 (NLT) Ive heard this verse used to tell people God would not give hardship beyond what we can stand. Thats actually not what Paul was referring to. He was specific to temptations, not hardships. Hardships are part of life on earth. In the midst of hardships, when you are feeling like all is lost, there is still God, and He is right there beside you. ~Kathy
