If you truly want optimal health that becomes effortless, you must observe the behaviors and actions you make which are stopping you. For example, when you really want to eat that slice of cake, ask yourself what it is you really want? It might be rest, a hug, recognition for something youve done, or maybe to forget the pain you feel if someone close to you is sick. ALL OF THESE THINGS ARE EMOTIONAL PAIN! And emotional pain will not kill you. Food is simply a way that people cope- and excess weight is what happens when you use food as a coping mechanism. Spend 5 minutes and recognise the other things which make you happy. The other things that help you cope during your busy day. And next time you think about binge eating, go to the other coping mechanism and combat your emotional pain with something other than food.
