If you want to achieve something through training, diet, exercise, whatever you want to call it, you need two things. You need to have, or be given an Effective Strategy. Also you need to put in the Effort to make things happen. Regularly, consistently. This is not to say 100% strictest adherence is required 100% of the time. But it means you need to have the intention of making training a part of your life and the intention of showing up and doing it regularly. Once in a while aint gonna cut it. Now there is no shortage of people out there who ARE putting in the effort, probably working harder than anyone, probably being stricter than anyone, probably more consistent than anyone... and theyre still not making progress. Why could that be? People tend to get down on themselves and assume it is some short coming on their account that is stopping them from getting anywhere. That their best just isnt good enough if its a fraction short of perfect adherence. Marketers capitalise on this, either with snake oil remedies for whatever made up condition they want to tell you is halting your progress, or with guilt & shame style you dont want it bad enough type garbage. Nope. If youre already putting in the effort, theres only one thing you could be missing and thats the Effective Strategy. What that means is a training program designed to produce results by a real, experienced, knowledgeable and actually quite good trainer.
