If you want to be involved in bringing yoga therapy into the medical world, this course will give you the necessary tools. We are launching a training in Embodied Health. Embodied Health is a course that Heather Mason developed at Boston University of Medicine for first and second year medical students to teach future doctors about the clinical benefits of yoga and mindfulness and physiological mechanisms. Research on this course found it changed doctors perspectives on the delivery of healthcare interventions. The course can be inserted into any medical school as an elective and any nursing programs. The training has 3 components. A three day course from Saturday to Monday March 21st-23rd from 9am-5pm in London. This will offer an overview of the relationship between yoga, mindfulness, and medicine. The second component involves actually doing the Embodied Health course. This is for 8 weeks starting Wed March 25th in London from 7pm-9pm and continues until May 14th. The 3rd component is a training in how to deliver this course from May 23rd-May 25th. The combined course is 750 pounds. For graduates of the complete MInded Yoga Therapy Certification a substantial discount is offered. Please note that this course is rigorous and involves an application process. To discuss your interest please email heather.f.mason@gmail
