Hot Rod Movie Review For connoisseurs of stupidity, Hot Rod is that perfect delicacy: A silly movie about ridiculous characters that are also actually funny. Hilarious, even. Hot Rod stars Andy Samberg, a well known comedy actor who stars in many “SNL” bits, and a member of the band “Lonely Island”. The movie is mainly loved for its wonderfully performed stunts, which seem to all end not how you would expect. You could say it’s quite the odd love story between a step-father and his son finding the strength to bond. The right person to see this film would not be one who takes the directing of a movie seriously, but one who is just looking for a good laugh. “Straight up dumb.” is what some would call it, even though they’d always have that short little giggle that tags along. It is a must see for those late night comedy lovers.
