If you want to sacrifice an animal please do it in the true spirit of Islam and sacrifice. When our kids play with the dead parts of animals, when they come home excited to describe the animal shitting in fear before its death. Your NOT teaching them the true spirit of sacrifice. Your making them obnoxious, blood thirsty and squeezing their natural empathy out of them. Sacrificing an animal stands for what all that your willing to give up for God. Your life if you have too. Its not a joking matter. Respect the creature taking that burden from you as Allah has allowed, respect the sacrifice, dont make a mockery out of it. Allow the animal the dignity in and after death of NOT letting kids play in its dead remains and laugh at its fear. No wonder we are the same people who can cut off a mans head and play football with it. Just another animal cut up for God after all.... I am ashamed but sickened and continue to be hopeful we will all learn....
