If you want to see a great political interview, check out Tom Clarke absolutely DISSECTING Jason Kenney on Globals West Wing. Its not rude, but every time Kenney (a bear of very little brain but big on a fierce, almost desperate loyalty to the Tory cause) trots out a tired cliché, he is quietly eaten alive. The Prime Minister has always been a strong advocate of a Tripe-E Senate, he says, and Clarke fields that neatly by saying Really? Harpers been into the Senate more than any other PM before him. Hes appointed more Senators than any of his predecessors, including the three who are proving so troublesome now. On Nigel Wright, Clarke points out that there are a great many people within the Tories and across all parties who know Nigel Wright to be a very ethical, pleasant and above-board individual. Kenney himself pointed this out to the media a few days ago! Butat the convention, Harpo characterized Nigel Wright as the chief architect of the payment scandal, and when Clarke reminded his guest of this, all Kenney could do was squirm. Amazing how someone so gormless could be in the public eye as a cabinet minister. Very entertaining, in a rather vicious way...
