If you want to see how the elected officials are bulking us Floridians out of money, then read this article. It is costing Florida $300,000 million dollars a year and they are cutting programs from the people because the elected officials are taking our money. When I ran against the clerk of court in 2012, I pushed this issue because I am highly against stealing from the people. I believe that after an elected official is in office for five years or longer, they can take advantage of the people and get hundreds of thousands of dollars in a lump sum and thousands upon thousands of dollars a month and even keep their salaries, which in 2012, the elected clerk of court made almost $140,000 a year and only had to show up for work 8 days out of the whole year. Can you believe that? Its highway robbery! They are stealing from us and getting away with it. I hope I did not offend anyone by saying this, but the truth is the truth and we should never steer away from the truth.
