If you were at the grocery store and two lanes were open but one had a sign that says this lane closes in 20 minutes would you suddenly stop using that lane before it closes? Of course not! I just traveled across the country to Tennessee and observed some good common sense driving habits that some people, my friends included, lack. Did you know that studies have shown a 15 percent reduction in delays when drivers use all lanes until the merge point and then take turns? So, to the lady who was screaming at me this morning and waving arms and fingers, etc - :-P
