If you were attending A night of Rnb- Save the Tatas on Saturday, please read. November 29th was going to be a promising evening. One I have been looking forward too for a while. As someone whos life was turned upside down this year dealing with Breast Cancer and the process of ridding myself of it, I was excited to share my best method of healing and that which I am passionate about, Music. A Night of RnB, Save the Tatas, was my vision, my baby. I worked on it during my darkest moments of enduring the affects of chemo. I was expecting 250 plus guests , celebrities and media. Two Radio stations were broadcasting live from the event. A lot of monies were spent from my own pocket to make this event fabulous. It was a pink carpet event and I had trophies for survivors of this dreadful disease, women who gave me hope to push through the pain, they once themselves endured, only to have it all snuffed from me 3 days before the event. I was even honoring post-humously, a brave lady I had the pleasure of knowing who lost her battle a few weeks ago. I was told by the owner of H.O.M.E. that there was a mixup that was HIS fault and another event was recently booked therefore resulting in canceling my event. My event was booked October 1, 2014 when the calendar was clear. Despite being hurt and devastated, I am not a quitter. While the event scheduled for Saturday the 29th is cancelled, my team and I have decided to postpone it until March of 2015 as there was not enough time with the holiday, to find another venue. My album was recently released and Ive done nothing to promote it because this project was more important to me. I will focus on my album a little while and work on my other projects I have coming up and pick this back up the beginning of the year. I thank EVERYONE Who helped me in any way. If you want a refund on your tickets, that is not a problem, let me know. If you want to use your tickets to the show in March, they will be honored. To my performers, you are all a class act and I hope you will all stay on the journey with me and perform in March. My celebrities and Media, thank you for your support. My choir, PR firms, friends and family who sold tickets and helped get the word out, thank you. To anyone inconvenienced in any way, please accept my most sincere apologies and please know that I dont conduct business in this hap hazard way. The Tarsha Rodgers brand is extremely important to me and I remain always the consummate professional. God is in this plan and although Saturday would have been big, March will be more spectacular. I hope to see you all there. Thank you and God Bless! I may have had Cancer, but it never had me! Tarsha Rodgers
