If you were born in Delco, more than likely you were raised on Swiss Farms. You went with your parents when you had to return the milk jugs. Then you became a parent and you continued to use Swiss Farms on a daily basis and now your kids come to Swiss. 3 generations in some cases of loving Swiss Farms. Here is one young Moms story on why she loves Swiss Farms and how Swiss Farms is a better easy. Share your stories about Why You Love Swiss and how it has impacted your life. I can remember Swiss Farms when I was a kid. My mom would drive up order her milk, eggs and maybe a goodie for the kids and off she went. I remember thinking how boring, you cant go in and look at stuff? Fast forward 23 years and here I am a mom of two children ages 6 and 3. My 3 year old has a rare neurological condition and because of this condition he can’t crawl, walk or talk. Shopping with both boys has always been a little difficult since I need to bring a wheelchair for my 3 year old and somehow manage to push a shopping cart too. I remember the day like it was yesterday; it was pouring rain, I had just picked my then 5 year old from school and we were to head down to DuPont Childrens Hospital with his younger brother for an appointment. On the way home I realized I had nothing back at the house; no bread, no dinner, not even toilet paper. Im a busy mom and sometimes forget the staples of everyday life. I panicked, it was still pouring, I had both kids with me and just didnt have the energy to take both kids into the grocery store. Then there it was right in front of me as if the sky opened and it was the only store that didnt have rain coming down on it, it was a SWISS FARMS!! I flew into the driveway, tried to remember how this whole drive up store worked since I hadnt been to one since my mom would take us. I drove up and there was an associate, almost reading my mind and could tell how thankful I was to find them. I got my bread, chicken salad, cookies and TOILET PAPER! I didnt have to get out of the car! I didnt have to push a wheelchair and a shopping cart around for just 4 things. I didnt have to say no to my oldest on every piece of sugar he wanted. It was a moment in my life I will never forget, it was the day my life became a little easier. I am happy to report that we go to Swiss almost every day and when you do that the store associates get to know you and your order and the things you and your family like. They always say hello to my boys and make a big deal over them and give them a cow tail when mom says its ok. They are a staple in Delaware County and I know this mom couldnt imagine a life without them! How has Swiss Farms changed your life?
