If you were out in the deep blue sea in the Pacific and you found - TopicsExpress

If you were out in the deep blue sea in the Pacific and you found yourself surrounded by great white sharks, a cage would be something of a good safety for your life. Or if you were out on a Safari in the wild lands of Africa but then found yourself suddenly surrounded by hungry lions, wouldnt you desire a cage to keep you safe from them? Well just food for thought but our spiritual lives are in the same danger everyday, the Words of Scripture and their commands, precepts and principles are of God, not to cage you or to squash what you consider fun, but these are His ways of keeping you safe from predators that will waste your time with non-sense and fruitless efforts (Ephesians 5:15-18), take you away and kill you by trends and substances, steal your joy of life from you when consequences come, and ultimately destroy your meaning or purpose for the life you were given (John 10:10), so again, as Biblical Christianity have always said, God loves you and has a purpose for your life (Jeremiah 29:11), its not just a corny saying as many think it to be. It wont take away the troubles of this world, but it will certainly give you hope and meaning despite what life can bring. You are free in Christ (John 8:31), not to do as you used to before you knew him (Romans 6:1-4), but free to live in things that are good (Philippians 4:8), and safe from harm if you will just live for His Glory who will keep you and protect you from your natural (ourselves, our world) and supernatural predators (Satan and demons) (1 Peter 5:8). Watch out for those clever wolves who look like us but are not (2 Peter 3:13-16) (2 Timothy 4:3-4) (1 John 4:1-6). Always be ready! (Ephesians 6:11-17) See the Holy Bible, see what I am talking about, we know this corresponds to reality, that is what truth is! God bless you!
