If you werent at Harvest Train in Falcon, North Carolina today, you. missed. out. This morning, I rode in the Harvest Train parade and then was able to enjoy listening to the Jay Stone Singers (whom I know and love). I was even able to sing a little something myself! Shortly after the program began, I was in tears. Entitled There is a Way Out, the program featured children from Falcon Childrens Home who shared the message that the Lord is always the way to happiness. I was able to reconnect with some of my friends that I made last summer when I hosted a talent show at Falcon, and was brought to tears as one of them sang so confidently on stage. Im happy to report that an incredible amount of funds and items were given today to support the Falcon Childrens Home and Ministry. I have fallen in love with Falcon Childrens Home and challenge all of my Miss NC sisters, teens, and princesses to implement their platforms at Falcon Childrens Home. These young people have endured a great deal and deserve this kind of love and support and would appreciate it more than words can describe.
