If you werent at the Tafawa Balewa Square, TBS Lagos for the PDP rally, get the side attractions. It was an unprecedented crowd of party supporters. While the main bowl of the TBS was filled to capacity, large crowds gathered outside, singing and dancing, in support of the PDP and its Presidential flag bearer, President Goodluck Jonathan. Members of different PDP support groups such as, Divine mandate, Good luck Grassroot Mandate and Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, were at the venue chanting solidarity songs.They said, “Jonathan have quality and trusted persons. We are among them”. Different Traditional masquerades did what they know how to do best, just to make sure that the teeming crowd was well entertained. The rally was also an opportunity for smart people to make brisk business, as they sold customized caps, flags and t-shirts, with the picture of President Jonathan and the PDP symbols inscribed on them. Although the area was heavily guarded by armed military men, people moved freely, and no casualty was reported. People said, President Good luck Jonathan was magnificent when he addressed the cheering crowd. # (Pls i dont belong to any party)
