If you would like to make amazing shortbread heres how you do it. 4oz caster sugar plus extra for sprinkling 8oz butter softened 8oz plain flour 4oz cornflour Cream together butter and sugar then sift together the flours and mix into the butter mix using a fork. (Dont over work the mix or your shortbread wont be crumbly) Leave to rest for 10 mins roll out to 1cm thickness and use a cutter to make shapes place on a baking tray with some parchment and sprinkle with sugar cook in pre heated oven cook at 180 for 10- 12 mins or until golden. Great for cooking with the kids.
