If you would like to meet some new folks in the new year, learn new crafts, or just hang out, you are invited to join our group! We meet Monday nights at 6:30 pm at the Saxapahaw General Store, and Wednesdays at 10am at Cup 22 at the Haw River Ballroom. Come to whichever time(s) work out best for you! If you dont know how to crochet or knit, or want help with other crafty pursuits, there are almost always people there who can help you learn. We also love it when you bring projects to show the group, or ask for help on stuff...we might be able to assist. Any craft is welcome...crocheting is far from required. Or just hang out and watch. We almost always have door prizes. We have everyone from adolescents, to college students, to silver haired crafty people in our group, and lots inbetween. We have added to the charm of our lovely location with yarn bombs, shared beautifully knitted and crocheted items with many peeps in our little burg (check out the folks at the Saxapahaw General Store and youll probably see creations by our members), participated in charity knitting and crochet endeavors for everyone from babies to hospice patients, and donated a ton of yarn to Alamance Family Abuse Services shelter.
