If you would stand on the top of a mountain and gaze down upon the vastness of the valley below you might stand in awe of the majesty of creation. If you put yourself in perspective with the mountain, the valley, and the stars above you may begin to think that you are insignificant indeed. And when you consider the infinite numbers of mortals and other beings throughout the myriad of Universes you might feel like a single grain of sand lost upon the sands of time on all the beaches on an infinity of beaches. Yet no matter how small you appear in comparison never forget that you are a child of the Great Spirit. You are unique in the whole of creation. There is only one you. If you ceased to exist there would be an empty spot in the fabric of space that could never be filled. The Great Spirit loves you as if you were his only begotten child. His love for you is boundless and will endure forever. The Great Spirit created all that is as an expression of his love and it was for you that it was created. Have you thought to give thanks today for all that he does for you? And if not--------Why?
