If your God/Gods & its messengers are infallible, why be OFFENDED if some mere mortal mocks them? If you cant tolerate satire, criticism or skepticism in a Secular Democracy, challenge them through protests. Refute them through logical arguments. Emotional arguments too. Sue them for defamation. Boycott them, hell nobody is forcing you to see/read/hear/watch them. You can easily avoid them and remain Cool the same way I avoid the music of Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga & Honey Singh as well as Chetan Bhagat & Amish Tripathi books and Twilight & Salman Khan movies. If Vandalism & Violence are how you respond to other ideas that question/mock your ideas, well seems the foundation of your own ideas is very weak & fragile or your ideas are very bogus in the first place since you never used your ideas to fight other ideas. This goes both for protests against #PK by Virat Hindoos as well as the recent massacre of 11 people outside a satirical magazines office in #Paris by Junooni Islamists. And if anyone condemns only one of the two (according to what suits their beliefs), you are a downright hypocrite.
