If your inbox looks anything like mine, youve been inundated with year-end requests for donations. This ones a bit different though: it comes with a commitment to sustainability and to completing the job of building out Rwandas primary health care infrastructure. When thats done, well move on to the next challenge. Over the last eight years, Health Builders has worked to improve the efficiency of Health Centers across Rwanda, enabling high quality primary healthcare for over two million people formerly without it. To date, we have collaborated with the Rwandan government to provide management interventions and training to 96 Health Centers, constructed 7 new facilities (and just broke ground on our 8th!), and helped each facility to operate as a lean, efficiency-driven enterprise. But we want to do more. We are therefore launching our Capital Campaign, in partnership with local communities to ensure a functional Health Center in every sector across the country by 2020. The construction of 21 new Health Centers will achieve that goal and include the management tools and training that each facility needs to thrive. The results will be easily-accessible primary health care for 500,000 Rwandans and improved services for millions. At a one-time cost of $21 million, its an investment which will continue to provide services for generations to come. In other words, $21 million would put Rwanda in a league of its own: a Sub-Saharan African nation with health care access for all by 2020. This holiday season, we ask you to consider the communities who stand to benefit from our Campaign. If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution, you may do so through our website (globalhealthbuilders.org), or through mailing to Health Builders P.O. Box 250782 New York, NY 10025 Thanks so much for your support, Josh
