If your parent were to pass away, what would would you hope for from others? How would you want to be loved and held? I challenge you all to meditate on that. Through several recent conversations, I have been reminded in different ways that Love > Ego. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, ALWAYS trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love is also forgiveness, and I pray for the ability to forgive those who have deeply failed me. Summer healing.
