If your school hasnt done it yet, take the Penguin Plunge with your schools Unified Sports team! And, share in the proceeds to raise money for your team! CAS programs that participate in a Special Olympics Connecticut Penguin Plunge are eligible to receive up to 50% of all team funds raised, to a maximum of $5,000. Teams wishing to participate in this fundraising opportunity must comply with the following: - Teams MUST be registered online by a team captain at soct.org/plunges - All team members must pre-register online (Walk-up registrations will not count towards your team fundraising total that will be split, but may be used for your overall total towards event awards and prizes) - Each team member must raise a minimum of $100 - One Unified Sports fundraising team per school (ex: the Unified Basketball and Soccer teams will participate as one Penguin Plunge team.) - A Team Captain will provide the following information to SOCT event staff: * School faculty/Coach contact information * School fund check is to be made out to and mailing address. Checks may not be issued to individuals. - SOCT will provide a list of team members and fundraising totals within 7 days of the event to a Team Captain. Team Captain/Coaches will have 7 days to review the information and respond to SOCT with any questions.
