If your small group, club, or friends are looking for a way to give back here’s your chance. When residents transition out of our shelter into their own place cleaning supplies are always a must. There’s help with food and other necessities but cleaning supplies seem to get left out. So, have your group make cleaning baskets for our transitioning residents. Take a clothes hamper or mop bucket and fill it with such items at sponges, comet, scrubbing bubbles, etc. If you use it to clean at your house, chances are they use it too. We are also in need of body wash, feminine hygiene products (specifically tampons), razors, deodorant, toilet paper, lotion and shampoo for our residents. Typically our shelter has 33 individuals at any given time and that’s a lot of supplies to keep up with the demand. Call Nickie at 629-8868 for more information.
