If your son was nailed to a cross, would you rescue him? Why didnt God do that? God gave us His best when He gave us Jesus. That day, God made a rational decision, because He knew the outcome. With the great sin that hung upon Jesus, God couldnt look at Him. He had to reject Jesus. Jesus cried out saying,Father, Father why hast thou forsaken me? and He didnt say it because He was in physical pain. He said it because suddenly, He was completely separated from His Father. He was alone and it was unbearable. What was Jesus doing on the cross? He was running toward OUR giant. What was God doing while Jesus was on the cross? He was running toward His giant. Those were some major giants to run at. Dont you think its time for you to run towards yours?
