If youre a sucker for a good story (like me), youll like (possibly love) the Moth Radio Hour. I caught it on KQED during my commute home this evening. I recommend starting with Charlie Ravioli. It made me feel like I was a kid...sitting on the floor of my living room circa 1938, staring up at the glow emitting from the dial display on a huge wooden tube radio...listening to some grand story on my favorite radio program. A tiny glimpse of life without TV...imagination takes over and its so much more interesting. I need to listen to stories on the radio more often. You should too!
