If youre familiar with the campus of M.S. Ramaiah, where burning of garbage is a very common sight, where trees are slaughtered, where tall rise buildings are considered aesthetic, you will know how eco friendly the campus is. And what happened today is the icing on the cake. As a daily routine, my classmates and I rushed to close the windows in the middle of a lecture, so that the bees dont come in to the classroom. Theres usually an order in their chaotic bee dance. But today, they were not their normal self. They were actually chaotic. A few were cluttering to the windowpane. And then what I witnessed was horrific. The hive dropped from the floor above. I saw bees that were burnt to death. Some, struggling to fly, half-burnt. They never had harmed us. Yes, they might have stung a person or two. Atleast, they didnt burn us alive after snatching our homes from us. Wow. A round of applause. Humans-1 Bees-0. R.I.P. Ill miss you. Im sorry I couldnt do anything.
