If youre going to claim to be religious and talk that talk, you should be attempting to walk that walk. To clarify Im not religious. I have many flaws, but I work on myself a lot ~ not just spiritually, but physically, mentally, and emotionally as well. I dont claim a religion, but I make a conscious effort to be a good person, to share what I learn, and to be morally & ethically correct. Im gay and I dont really care if anyone has a problem with it. That would be their problem not mine. Everyone is not going to like me, and I dont care about that either. My opinion of myself comes from myself - not from other people. Im happy being me and there is nothing anyone else can do to compromise my happiness, only I can do that. I dont require attention from other people (well not now that Im older), I dont need validation either - of course sometimes it is nice. Other people dont control me with their perceptions of me and likewise I have no control over them. Life is so much simpler this way! #ContentWithinMyself
