If youre itching to get out of the valley this weekend, Lassen Volcanic National Park has some fun/educational events planned. Saturday: Telescopes will be set up to view Comet Lovejoy from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday-Monday: Lassen Film Festival, featuring films about the wilderness and climate change, NASA and water resources.
