If youre looking for new Christmas music, I highly recommend Sovereign Grace Musics new Christmas album, Prepare Him Room. Not only is the music amazing (including some beautiful orchestration), the lyrics are biblical and inspiring, and filled with the hope of the Gospel. At Christmas we should be celebrating how God became flesh to bring hope to the hopeless, justice to the oppressed, light in this dark and hurting world, and redeem sinful people. I really would rather hear music that points to Christ, than yet another rendition of Jingle Bells. This music has brought me closer to God and I was surprised to even cry the first few times I heard several of the songs. Heres a sample:
