If youre observant, youre likely to find that there are four kinds of people on earth. First, (numero uno) are those who love Lionel Messi. Like Messis stature, style and accomplishments, they keep it short, simple and classy. Next, (second naturally) are those who dislike Messi because they prefer Cristiano Ronaldo. They love CR7 with a burning passion. Then there are those who dont know who Messi or Ronaldo are. They might care if they knew but they dont know. It is difficult to believe but they do exist somewhere on this planet. Finally, there are those who know Messi and Ronaldo, they keep a tab on world events, but they dont give a hoot about either of them. For those who love Messi, it is simple - remain blessed. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Selah. For those who like Ronaldo, the good thing is that they found the joy (of the salvation) of football. Unfortunately, they took a wrong turn which could happen to anyone. Theres a slim chance the rescue mission may yet find them at the wrong branch they took when they got to the fork in the road. For those who honestly have no clue who these footballers are, ignorance is probably bliss. They are spared the headache of endless Ronaldo vs Messi banters. Arguments and counter arguments about who is the better player. Remain under your rock, poor innocent souls. For those who know these players but couldnt be bothered about their exploits, it is understandable. Life is full of challenges, no doubt. There are bills, fees and taxes to pay. Daily threats of global warming and terrorism. It often feels like you are carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. Theres no time to stop and smell the roses, as the cliché goes. You will, hopefully, overcome someday.
