If youre unable to stand to exercise or want to keep moving while sitting try chair Exercises. While sitting march for 2 min Crunches place a small ball behind your lower back go backward and forward as far as possible 20x Do crunches to each side touching elbow to opposite knee 20x Twist side to side reaching as far as possible with opposite hand 20 x Toe touches point toes stretch legs in front alternate legs 20 each Do the same as above with heel 20 each Weighted leg raises hold some kind of weights just above your knee lift leg 20 times repeat with alternate leg Most arm exercise can be do in the traditional way while sitting. Squats get up from chair without using hands to standing position set back down without hands 20 x Stretch for cool down As you get stronger go through all exercise three times marching in between each exercise. You will eventually be able to do this with bands and weights then standing then on to more intense workouts. I was unable to do standing exercise after heart surgery I did chair exercise until I was able to do it standing. I am now doing workouts and the gym. Debbie :)
