If youve watched the video of the awards ceremony for the Edwards family, then you heard one VERY important thing. Good information from eye witnesses is what helped expedite this case. Not a description of say: a white guy wearing a hoodie. No, they had a truck make and model, a plate number, a color, and a description of both the Hailey and the driver. YOU can learn to be a good witness and it can be fun to do it. If youre out over the weekend, see if you can take a quick look at someone 3-5 seconds and actually remember what their detailed description was in such a short period of time. Start head to toe: Hair color, hair length, facial hair, skin color, clothing, approximate height, any visible tattoos/scars/injuries you noticed. Vehicles are a bit different. I tend to immediately go for a license plate. In Missouri were supposed to have one front and one rear, so your chances of getting a plate are increased IF a plate is present. Trust me, getting your phone out to take a picture takes time, time you might not have.
